VBS Day 2 Prayer Requests

Here are some Prayer Requests as we start Day 2 of the VBS:1) We all have tons of mosquito bites! Pray that it won't be a distraction!

2) Pray for kids that are quiet and may not seek attentions, but we want to connect with them also!

3) Pray for the weather! It's been overcast for the past few days and also raining. Our games has to change and adapt as the day go. Pray that today God will give us wisdom to adapt and hold the rain! But also give thanks we have an extended tarp over the outdoor area! They built it in a few hours!

4) Pray for Robyn as she is leading the message today!

We have arrived!

Quick update as I've only got Internet on my phone! Our team has arrived safely and all our luggages also made it! We got a warm welcome from the kids here and we are now unpacking and settling down!Pray also for Pastor Kenny as he is preparing for his message/sharing tomorrow!

Back in Canada!

1. Praise God that God has brought us all home safely by His grace!
2. Thank God for all the good things He has done!

Final Day

Please pray for a strong finish as we come to a close for the discipleship/leadership camp.Pray for those who will be taking leadership roles in leading singing, games, and cooking lunch.

Praise God for the awesome work that He has  been doing in our midst.

Praise God for answered prayer for God's leading for the staff retreat.  It was truly a time for spiritual encouragement and being led by the Spirit to discuss needs and set goals for the coming year.

Week Two

Pray for our second week as we begin July 12 on discipleship/trainingPray for open and receptive hearts.

July 6 prayer requests

1. Please pray that the rain will end soon so that it allows us to continue with the outdoor games.
2. Pray that as we present the gospel message on Thursday that hearts will be prepared to receive Jesus.
3. Pray for Jeff as he presents the message on Thursday and for Pastor Allan's invitation to receive Jesus.

Ukraine 2010 Ready to Go!

Ukraine 2010 Team is leaving soon! Please join us at 9:00am on Thursday, July 1st  in the Calgary airport chapel for prayers and good byes. We'd love to see you there!

Health needs

A physical needs prayer request: all of us still have a bit jetleg in the afternoon. Tiff, Andrea, and Calvin have stomach issues. I for one am typing this post in the can for the nth number of time!
