One Day Retreat – A New Rhythm of Life

Join us for a One Day Retreat on March 22, where we will take time to step away from the busyness of life and realign ourselves with the rhythm God desires for us. Through teachings, reflections, and intentional times of prayer, we will seek renewal and deepen our walk with Christ.

Ash Wednesday Service (English & Cantonese)

Join us for Ash Wednesday service as we begin the season of Lent with prayer, reflection, and the imposition of ashes. All are welcome.

Join us for a nerf night in the chapel hosted by Journey Fellowship! Adults and kids are welcome. Blasters, pellets and protective eye wear will be provided. No need to sign up just show up! Questions? Contact [email protected]

Are you interested in getting baptized or learning more about baptism and what it represents? Join our baptism class! The class lasts about one hour and will be taught by Pastor Calvin.

There will be 5 classes on Sundays starting from Feb 16 - March 16 2025. Classes will be at church at 1:00 PM in room 203 (south building)

Once you begin attending the sessions and decide you’d like to be baptized (NO OBLIGATION!) Pastor Calvin will provide you with an application form and details around the process. The completed form must be submitted by March 2, 2025.

We will be offering two Christmas services this holiday season, 9:30AM (FULL) & 11:15AM in the sanctuary.

Baptism for Cantonese, Mandarin and English friends will be at 11AM in the Sanctuary.

Please Note:

• Cantonese & Mandarin friends will have their worship at 9:30AM in the Sanctuary & Chapel respectively.

• English friends will have their worship service the night before on Saturday December 14 at 7PM in the Sanctuary.

• Children can join their parents for the baptism ceremony at 11AM as there will be no children’s ministry classes during this time.

GroupLink 2024 is the event to go to if you are looking for an English speaking life group this year and it’s also for all of our life groups to come together and connect. About Our Coffee Ministry

Each Sunday a team of 2 will come in at 9am to start brewing the coffee, boiling water for tea, hot chocolate and setting up the coffee station. They will come back at 10:30am to bring out the coffee, hot water, hot chocolate, cookies and start serving until around 11am. Then it's clean up and dishes until about 11:15am.

Commitment

The commitment level is up to you, you can choose which Sundays work for you and we will schedule you in accordingly.

On Sunday May 26th during our Joint Membership Meeting we will be voting on Pastor Vicky Lok as the Cantonese Associate Pastor. Vicky is currently working as our Seniors Ministry Coordinator. We will have a townhall a week before on Sunday May 19th to give everyone a chance to get to know Vicky Lok, what her vision is for SCCEFC and to answer any questions you may have. The Townhall will begin at 1:30pm in the Chapel.
