Given our church’s unique location in the city, what do we do and how do we respond when we encounter our neighbours who are experiencing homelessness? How do we respond lovingly and appropriately as individuals and as a church?

Please join us for a workshop presented by Alpha House Society on “Engaging Vulnerable Persons”. Topics will include:

• Information about factors that lead to homelessness & addiction

• Discussion on the stigma associated with homelessness & addiction

• Information on recognizing how & when to navigate interactions with our unhoused neighbours

• Learnings about free resources available to community & when to utilize them
