The start of week 2 began in the morning as we reviewed our packed schedule ahead...
... we got the Roma camp's skit team together for a quick rehearsal!
And then the discipleship camp started!
First some songs!
Grace led day 1 of the PeaceMaker program!
... then they split into their small groups...
During the afternoon we split into our skills track, they chose between Sport, Cooking, Craft (making a book).
While the PeaceMaker program was going, in the other room boxes of food was being packed for poor families and kids we saw from week 1.
Snack time...
After the camp was over we left for visitations. We finally got to see where the children we met in Week 1 live...
Teresa and her family live in a balcony size room.
She makes these amazing bead flowers to sell...
... however the money goes to the man (not her father) her mother is with...
Still she was overjoy with tears as we bought some from her.
Next we visited Valik and his family.
As we left a herd of goat came out...
We then visited Carina, who one day wished to be a doctor! Her mother was unfortunately murdered by a jealous lover...
Her grandmother now takes care of her and others...
We visited a total of 7 families. Some of whom I had visited before in 2009, I notice alot of their homes has been rebuilt with the help of the Norwegian church. It's a massive improvement to their condition before.
As we end the day we spend some more time in prayers for the HOM staff, especially Vasya and Valery. There's so much work that they are involve in and we know the burden is huge. We pray that more brother and sister in Christ will come along their side and help lift this heavy burden with them. And we also pray that God will continue to sustain them in their health, strength and wisdom. Please do keep them in your prayers.
