Questions for Thought & Discussions:

1. Why do you think Jesus prayed that this ‘cup’ of sacrifice may pass?

2. What do we learn about Jesus in that in the end of this discourse in that all that really mattered was the will of his father?

3. Why do we struggle at times between the will of the father and our own will that may clearly go against his will? (answer this question repeatedly and each time go a little bit deeper into our own character, experience and faith)
