The Advent season is upon us! Have your kiddos make their own wreath!
Materials:
1 big biscuit size shredded wheat
white glue
green food coloring
glitter
Steps: Break apart the shredded wheat biscuit into tiny pieces on a plate. Mix white glue with green food coloring in a separate bowl. Use a generous amount of glue - we used half a styrofoam cup of white glue for one wreath! Stir the glue and food coloring together. Once it’s mixed, you can pour the glue on top of the tiny bits of shredded wheat. Use your hands and mix it together. The bits should be coated with the glue mixture. If you need more glue, just make some more in your bowl. Once mixed it make a ball. Press it down into a flat pancake on a piece of tin foil, wax paper or parchment paper. Form a circle shape. Sprinkle with glitter and sparkles. Add the candles and let it dry!
